Business Development Manager
$60,000 - $100,000 + commissions (based on production--no limit to earning potential)

We will be scaling and growing our business in later in Q1/Q2 2025 and will looking for awesome B2B sales and relationship building candidates for this role.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key individuals and accounts to promote commercial business, with three main components:  Increase awareness of the Paul Davis brand, promote the services of Paul Davis, and build industry relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish a current list of property and facility managers within commercial buildings/ facilities
  • Cold calling prospective business by emails, phone calls and in person introductions
  • B2B sales to customers in the commercial property space who utilize restoration services to support their facilities
  • Schedule in person meetings with prospective commercial business accounts
  • Maintain and grow current commercial business relationships
  • Submit and maintain a log of weekly activities and meetings scheduled
  • Plans, develops, and establishes sales policies, principles, and procedures
  • Maintain a commercial client contact log and pipeline
  • Investigates market conditions and facilitates to determine time, place, and type of sale
  • Coordination, attendance, and promotion of all company events relating to marketing

    • Lunch and Learn Seminars for Insurance Professionals
    • Trade Shows
    • Community Events
  • Assist Coordinators with before and after pictures of losses for big projects
  • Track all sales data in our main operating systems, Luxor and RMS
    • Generate a weekly lead count, job count
    • Generate a weekly individual sale on estimates AND commercial sales
    • Generate monthly sales data for individuals, departments, and divisions
    • Creation of a daily loss report and lead report
  • Maintain company’s CRM
  • Work with Regional Marketing Managers to promote and marketing your local office
  • Conduct market research and assist with lead generation
  • Recruit and coach team members, promote teambuilding and engagement in the office
  • Schedule and conduct department meetings and weekly GS&Rs with direct reports
  • Responsible for expense budget maintenance
  • Review and discuss sales performance with operations manager/department managers and Commercial Marketer
  • Responsible for coaching and developing A-players with leadership development skills and position development skills
  • Represent the company’s Vision, Mission, Values and Serving Basics
  • Discuss and review marketing plans and objectives with Commercial Marketer
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Attend company trainings and conferences

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two plus years’ experience in an outside sales (B2B) role
  • Five years of Commercial Marketing Experience
  • Working knowledge and book of contacts in DMA
  • At least one year of CRM experience
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Associate Degree or bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field 
  • Experience in the Restoration, Construction, or Insurance industry
Physical Requirement
  • Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • Must be able to sit 50% of the time during business development prospecting
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment
  • Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and in person
  • Must be able to stand on a hard surface for up to 100% of the time
  • Occasionally will lift up to 10lbs
Work Environment
The employee will be working indoors. The employee will be exposed to air conditioning and heat. The employees will be exposed to normal noises throughout the office and events. The employee will be occasionally working outdoors on job sites and/or events. The employee will be exposed to outside temperatures.

Travel
Local travel based on job requirements. Travel (local) may be up to 70%.
